Bumblebee

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
When one observes a bumblebee, one can appreciate how much of a remarkable creature it is. It carries loads in its fragile frame that look too heavy. It will fly in conditions that would terrify many other insects. Day after day it continues its work, gathering pollen and fulfilling its purpose.
As I watched this bumblebee moving from flower to flower, I couldn't help but think about perseverance. There are seasons in life when the weight we carry feels overwhelming. Grief, disappointment, broken relationships, health struggles, and unanswered prayers can make us wonder if we have enough strength to keep going.
The bumblebee doesn't stop because the load is heavy. It doesn't quit because the wind is strong or when it starts to rain. It keeps moving toward its purpose.
In much the same way, God never promised that our journey would be easy. He never said there would be no storms or burdens. In fact, Acts 14:22 states“Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” But what He did promise was His presence. He promised strength for the weary, grace for the weak, and endurance for those who trust Him.
Sometimes perseverance doesn't look dramatic or loud. Sometimes it is simply getting up one more day, praying one more prayer, taking one more step, and trusting God one more time. The strength to continue isn't found in ourselves; it is found in the One who carries us when we can barely carry ourselves.
If you feel weighed down today, remember the bumblebee. It was created for its purpose, and so were you. The same God who designed that tiny creature to keep flying has equipped you with everything you need to accomplish His purpose for your life.
